1 Grasping the "T" handle, lift the PETPig™ up out of the delivery case.
2 At the dose calibrator, unscrew the cap and remove it by lifting it up and off. Set cap aside.
3 Unlock the tab to release the syringe. Using tongs, assay the dose in your dose calibrator.
4 After assaying the syrings, return the syringe to the PETPig™ and lock the tab over the syringe to hold it in place.
5 Transport the dose to the PET imaging suite for patient dose administration.
6 While the unit is vertical, hold the handle and rotate the bottom segment of the PETPig™ clockwise until the pieces disengage.
7 Holding the handle, lift the syringe shield (middle section) away from the bottom segment and place it into the cradle. Attach the injection apparatus (stop cock, flush syringe, etc.). Infuse the patient dose.
8 After infusing the dose, dispose of the syringe and infusion apparatus. Reassemble the PETPig™ while in a vertical position and place it in the delivery case for return to Cardinal Health.
